Copyright Policy

The European Journal of Medical Practitioners (EJMP) is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of authors while ensuring the broad dissemination and long-term preservation of published scholarly work. This Copyright Policy outlines the ownership, licensing, and permitted use of articles published in the journal.

Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Submission and publication in EJMP do not transfer copyright ownership to the journal unless otherwise agreed through a separate written agreement.

Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors grant EJMP a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and display the article in both electronic and print formats as part of the official scholarly record.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • Reuse their published work in books, theses, dissertations, or future scholarly works.
  • Share the published article with colleagues and students for educational and research purposes.
  • Deposit the published version in institutional repositories or personal websites, subject to the journal's self-archiving policy.
  • Present the published work at conferences, seminars, and academic meetings.
  • Use figures, tables, and other original content in future publications with proper acknowledgment of the original publication in EJMP.

Journal Rights

The journal reserves the right to:

Licensing

Permissions

Permission is not required for the use of brief quotations, citations, or references from published articles provided appropriate acknowledgment is given.
